 Summary

This lightweight utility will check to ensure that a specified executable is running and if not found to be running, will attempt to start it. An INI file is provided so that the utility can be configured per user specifications. This utility has seen frequent use in ensuring high-availability with lightweight server applications, quickly starting them up in the event that they crash.

The utility is portable and can be run from any location (hard-drive, USB, CD/DVD, etc). Multiple copies can be run as-needed. Configuration settings are read from the included INI file that must be in the same directory.

The utility supports Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 as well as Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2003R2, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, 2016, and 2019. It has not been tested on Windows 2000 or older systems, and is not supported on Linux or Mac.

This software is licensed as proprietary freeware.

The software can be downloaded and used by anyone, free of charge. There are no restrictions on personal or commercial use. Redistribution of the software is allowed, under the stipulation that it is in its unmodified form.
