You are browsing the legacy version of our website.

To visit our current site, click here for the SSL version or here for the non-SSL version.

While this version is no longer actively maintained, it remains online both for historical reasons, and as an alternative to older clients and devices that do not support the features available on our new site. Further, please note that some tools and pages on this old website have been disabled for security reasons and will unfortunately only be available on the new website. I do sincerely apologize for this, but this website is a one-man operation, I simply do not have enough time to patch all tools on the old site since that would take away from the already-limited time that I do have to work on the new site.

Privacy Policy

Introduction

I, DBMXPCA Technologies, an individual that is NOT an organization of any kind, respect the privacy rights of my visitors and am committed to protecting the information collected through any offered products, services, and websites accessed through any internet-capable hardware platform including gaming consoles, personal computers, mobile computers, or smart phones, in-game applications or any software platform including third-party hosts (collectively the "Online Services"), and others that I have forgotten to mention here. I have adopted this privacy policy to explain how I collect, store, disclose, transfer, protect, and otherwise use the information collected in connection with the website. This document is my official Privacy Policy.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. BY REGISTERING FOR OR USING ANY ONLINE SERVICES, YOU AGREE THAT (i) I MAY TRANSFER, PROCESS, AND STORE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND OTHER COUNTRIES THAT MAY HAVE DIFFERENT PRIVACY PROTECTIONS THAN YOUR COUNTRY; (ii) I MAY PROCESS YOUR DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING PRIVACY POLICY; (iii) YOU ARE BOUND BY MY PRIVACY POLICY; AND (iv) YOU WILL ABIDE BY MY TERMS & CONDITIONS, CODE OF CONDUCT, AND ANY OTHER POLICIES THAT MAY APPLY. THIS PRIVACY POLICY SUPPLEMENTS THE PRIVACY DISCLOSURES PROVIDED TO YOU WITH ANY APPLICABLE SOFTWARE PRODUCT AND/OR BY YOUR CONSOLE MANUFACTURER.

This Privacy Policy describes the information I collect through my websites, services, and forms, and describes the policy I have in keeping your information private. This Privacy Policy applies to all services and websites within the DBMXPCA Technologies network.

Whether you like it or not, this site uses cookies.

Thank the limitations of the HTTP protocol.

I hate cookies, so I do not manually utilize them myself. Instead, I use server-sided sessions which essentially "identify" a visitor by their browser or client's user-agent and IP address. This is done to save any preferences that you may (or may not) select during your visit to the site, such as the website's language or its display mode. Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the HTTP protocol, sessions are stored on the client in the form of a cookie.

While there are a couple of alternatives to using cookies to store the server-sided sessions, they pose a far greater security risk and are far less reliable. Unless and until a better solution becomes available, I am afraid there is nothing else I can do. So if you have an issue with cookies, you can either disable them via your browser, or simply deal with it.

Please understand that even if I offered you the option to disable the use of cookies, I'd still need to store a cookie to remember that preference of yours, so really, it is a battle that none of us will ever truly win. ;)

Collection of Personal Information

Seeing as there are over 7.7 billion people on planet Earth, any of which could be visiting this site at any given time for any particular reason, I could truly care less who each person is. I appreciate your visit, but I will not make it my mission to find out your life biography just because you visited my site. Even if I wanted to, I do not possess the resources to even do such a thing.

The only data collected from your visit to this website is the standard information that is transmitted via the TCP/IP and HTTP protocol. This will always include your IP address as a bare minimum, and will usually include other supplemental information such as a user-agent string that identifies your browser and/or client. This information is usually logged to an operational server log, along with an HTTP status code that indicates result of whether or not the request could be successfully served or not.

The aforementioned data above may be tracked for purposes of website analytics, to help me get a better understanding of the traffic of the website. For example, I may wish to see the page with the highest number of visits, or wish to see what page(s) visitors spend the most time on. This data is something only I can view; it is not sold or redistributed to anyone else. This website does honor the "Do Not Track" request that can be sent with most browsers. If you do not wish to be tracked, please be sure to configure your browser as appropriate.
